YOGA AND PILATES ROCK! Resistance-based exercise is where it's at baby, and when we use basically our Selves to generate all the resistance, well it's a total-involvement type thing. GET A MAT, A PILATES BAND, AND GET TO IT - NO GYM REQUIRED!

self-chiropractic!
my left shoulder & neck area have been bugging me since the beginning of the year. i thought i'd have to see a chiropractor. about 6 weeks ago i started (again) with daily yoga, pilates, and moderate cardio (paced hiking). and voila! my shoulder and neck are nary a problem, still a tiny bit of misalignment but i suspect it will be gone in 2-4 weeks' time. (update 2010-3-6, still practicing daily, the pain is gone... realigned!)
